Donated to the Hungarian Multicultural Institute.
It was fascinating to see the young grapes visibly growing during our month-long stay, thanks to the copious rains and constant care of their owners. Though I was told they would not ripen until the end of October, by mid-August their color was subtly changing to golden undertones. This was painted very early one morning sitting by a dirt road known as Nadaskuti Utca. |
