Lake Balaton Watercolor

This was the fabulous view from the window of my room at the Fogadó. The color of the lake changed from milky white in the morning to blue-green in the afternoon, grey during storms, to lilac and rose at sunset—depending on the light, it formed an ever-changing display. The quaint houses, vineyards, and orchards enhanced its exotic old-world feel.
