A pastel done in the studio from my photos, this slightly run-down cottage appeared abandoned, but perhaps, like many of the properties in Csopak, was awaiting a bit of care from a Budapest owner who comes here on holidays. The grapevine on the gate had such a graceful form and color, it seemed someone with an artist’s eye had trained it to grow there. |
