This ceramic bowl with the worn blue glaze is one of my favorite props in the Still Life class I take during the winter, when I can't get outside much to paint. The oranges look so wonderful next to it. Still Life is not a genre I've done a lot, but I am learning a great deal from it. I particularly like the opportunity to use strong colors during the drab winter months. |
