| Hiking from Pingree Park campus over a mountain trail brought me to this lovely stream. The series of cascades on Beaver Creek, overhung by aspens and firs, continue for a quarter mile or so downstream. I tried to capture the soft yellow of the aspen leaves and the dark rocks in the filtered sunlight, in an unusually subtle, subdued palette. |
