| The mysterious ruins found in Chaco Canyon National Heritage Site are truly spectacular, all the more so because of the magnificent natural setting. It was hard to paint under the blinding sun, but as sunset approached, the precise solar orientation of Pueblo Bonito at the Fall equinox was easily observable. |
